President Prabowo Subianto recently revealed that a total of 352 TNI soldiers are set to participate in the military parade commemorating the 76th anniversary of the Republic of India in New Delhi on January 26, 2025. This exciting announcement was made just before his departure to India from the Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase in Jakarta. Indonesia is grateful for the invitation extended by the Indian government, which allows Indonesian troops, including Akmil cadets, to take the front row in India’s anniversary parade. The Indonesian contingent will comprise 352 TNI soldiers and cadets from the military academy. President Prabowo is expected to engage in meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss various aspects of bilateral cooperation, such as signing an MoU on collaboration in health, culture, security, maritime safety, and technology. Moreover, discussions with Indian entrepreneurs keen on investing in Indonesia are also on the agenda during his visit.
