Elementary school students in Depok are showing their gratitude for the Free Nutritious Meal Programme (MBG) by leaving heartwarming messages for Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto. These messages, written on the meal boxes or omprengs provided as part of the programme, clearly convey the students’ appreciation for this initiative. For instance, Regita, a grade 3 student, expressed her thanks by mentioning how the programme helped her save her pocket money. Similarly, students like Aliya and Alenna also shared their love and appreciation for Prabowo in their messages.
The MBG programme, which is a flagship initiative of President Prabowo Subianto, is being implemented in various locations across Indonesia to offer free nutritious meals to those in need. Managed by the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG), the programme ensures the quality and sustainability of the food provided. In a move towards long-term sustainability, the government has decided to use stainless steel food containers that are hygienic and reusable, showcasing their commitment to providing consistent support to those requiring nutritious meals.
