Karma memperlihatkan a glimpse of the long-range electric vehicle Amaris earlier this year, highlighting the coupe’s exterior design. Now, the car manufacturer is showcasing its interior ahead of the public debut of the car at the Monterey Car Week.

This is our first look at the car’s cabin, featuring a squirrel steering wheel with open carbon trim and what appears to be capacitive touch controls. The steering wheel is in front of a standard-looking digital gauge cluster.

There is also a large infotainment screen at the bottom of the dashboard, a third screen in front of the passenger, and a floating gear selector in the center console.

Karma has finished the interior, seen in a two-seat configuration, with Crimson Orbit leather and suede with carbon fiber and piano black accents. There is exposed carbon fiber on the center console and back support, with designers carving out rear compartments to accommodate luggage. The car also features an electrochromatic adjustable glass roof.

The Amaris GT Coupe is powered by a pair of electric motors with a four-cylinder turbocharged generator and a 41.5-kilowatt-hour battery. Karma claims that the system produces 708 horsepower and 676 pound-feet of torque, propelling the car from 0-60 mph in less than 3.4 seconds. The car has a top speed of 165 mph electronically limited. The Karma can travel up to 100 miles on electric power and over 400 miles with the generator.

Amaris uses an evolution of the Comet Line design language, which utilizes an aerospace-grade aluminum space frame with carbon fiber and aluminum bodywork. The car features 22-inch Constellation wheels and a clamshell engine cover that incorporates Karma’s signature Target lights.

Karma still plans to start production of the Amaris in the fourth quarter of 2026, with an initial price of around $200,000. We expect the car manufacturer to announce more official pricing details closer to the launch for the 2027 model year.
