President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, warmly received the Peruvian President, Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra, at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta. The state ceremony was attended by approximately 3,000 students from various schools in the capital. President Boluarte’s motorcade, accompanied by motorcycle troops and mounted guards, arrived at the palace from the National Monument. Upon arrival, Prabowo personally welcomed Boluarte, and they both stood on the ceremonial podium while the national anthems of Peru and Indonesia were played. They then inspected the honor guard and paid their respects to their country’s flags. The two leaders introduced their official delegations, with Prabowo being accompanied by several ministers. Subsequently, they engaged in a bilateral meeting to enhance the relations between their countries. Both Indonesia and Peru are members of APEC, a forum for economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region. This meeting follows Prabowo’s visit to Peru last year, demonstrating the ongoing diplomatic exchange between the two nations.
