Prabowo Subianto, the President of Indonesia, embarked on a journey from Solo to Klaten, Central Java, to inaugurate the Merah Putih Village Cooperative Program, a key initiative of his administration. The enthusiastic residents, teachers, and schoolchildren warmly welcomed his arrival, lining the roadside to greet him as his motorcade passed by. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as people waved and cheered, calling out his name. President Prabowo, donned in a brown suit and black peci (cap), engaged with the crowd by smiling, waving, and even distributing shirts along the route. The jubilant reception continued all the way to Klaten, where a larger crowd eagerly awaited his presence. The official launch event of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative Program took place in Bentangan Village, Wonosari District, marking a significant milestone in President Prabowo’s economic agenda. The program, which aims to establish over 80,000 cooperatives nationwide, is expected to be fully operational by October 28, 2025. These cooperatives are designed to enhance rural economies, improve trade conditions for farmers, and generate new employment opportunities, promoting inclusive development from the grassroots level upwards.
