Real estate branded car manufacturers are a rapidly growing business. Aston Martin and Porsche have skyscrapers in Miami, soon to be followed by Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, and Pagani. Meanwhile, Bugatti is constructing a 171-floor tower in Dubai. And soon, Brabus will not only have a skyscraper but also a stunning island. Located in the heart of Abu Dhabi in the Al Seef District, Brabus Island looks like a beautiful weekend retreat for your favorite supervillains. The initial renderings show a large property spanning over 1 million square feet, located just a few minutes from Zayed International Airport and downtown Abu Dhabi, and less than an hour from Dubai. This rendering depicts four large skyscrapers near the center of the island, which will house townhouses and apartments. Each tower can accommodate up to 350 luxury apartments and townhouses ranging from two to four bedrooms, with sizes ranging from 1,100 to 5,000 square feet. The towers are meant to evoke the “undoubtedly Brabus design philosophy,” although they look like another modern skyscraper with scattered Brabus logos. They are surrounded by 100 single-family “villas,” all located on the waterfront or beach. The residential properties take a minimalist approach, with three appealing color schemes to choose from: Black and Bold, White Bliss, and Grey Haven. Brabus says you can further customize the interiors with different materials and textures just like you would with a “bespoke” supercar. “Brabus Island is a remarkable milestone as well as a sensible evolution,” said Brabus CEO, Constantin Buschmann. “For almost five decades, Brabus has created products that move people – emotionally, visually, and physically. But this is different. Now, for the first time, we’re not just designing vehicles for lifestyle – we’re designing the lifestyle itself. Brabus Island is an intriguing and very significant design opportunity, and Abu Dhabi is the right place for it.” Brabus has not announced when construction will start or the prices of each residence.
